Deine Aufgaben

- Leitung von Systemdesign und -architektur für cloudverbundene IoT-Geräte
- Durchführung von Systemanalysen, Diagnosen und Leistungsoptimierungen
- Management des Produktentwicklungszyklus von der Idee bis zur Markteinführung
- Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams (Hardware, Firmware, Cloud, UX)
- Definition von Produktanforderungen basierend auf Kundenfeedback und Markttrends
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung industrieller Standards und Zertifizierungen
- Förderung kontinuierlicher Verbesserung und Innovation in Produktfunktionen und Benutzerfreundlichkeit

Dein Profil

Als Elektronik-Systemingenieur & Produktmanager schlägst du die Brücke zwischen Hardware, Software und Kundenbedürfnissen. Du bist verantwortlich für den gesamten Lebenszyklus unserer industriellen IoT-Produkte – von der Systemarchitektur und Analyse bis hin zur Produktstrategie und -auslieferung.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten & Qualifikationen
- Abschluss oder Studium in einem Elektroberuf, Computertechnik oder einem verwandten Bereich
- Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Systementwicklung für Embedded- oder IoT-Geräte
- Ausgezeichnete Fähigkeiten in der Erstellung technischer Dokumentationen
- Fundiertes Verständnis industrieller Kommunikationsprotokolle (z. B. MQTT, APIs, BLE etc.)
- Erfahrung mit Cloud-Plattformen (AWS, Azure etc.) und IoT-Geräteintegration
- Kenntnisse in Systemanalysetools und -methoden
- Geschick in Projektmanagement- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
- Fließend Englisch; Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil

Wissen & Erfahrung sowie Motivation, sich in folgende Themen einzuarbeiten:
- Erfahrung mit IoT-Systemen, Geräten und deren Einrichtung: Praktische Erfahrung mit vernetzten Geräten – einschließlich Hardwarekonfiguration, Sensorintegration und Fehlerbehebung
- Erfahrung in Backend-Entwicklung, idealerweise Elixir/Node: Erfahrung im Aufbau oder der Wartung von Backend-Diensten mit Elixir und/oder TypeScript (Node.js), einschließlich APIs, Datenverarbeitung und Integration mit Geräten oder Cloud-Systemen
- Vertrautheit mit Cloud-Infrastruktur und Cloud-zu-Cloud-Integration: Erfahrung mit Cloud-Plattformen und Integration mit Drittanbieterdiensten über APIs, Webhooks oder ereignisgesteuerte Architekturen
- Verständnis von Kommunikationsprotokollen wie MQTT, BLE und Mobilfunk: Kenntnisse im Umgang mit IoT-Kommunikationsstapeln - Einrichtung von MQTT-Handlern, Verarbeitung von BLE-Werbung oder Verwaltung von NB-IoT/LTE-M-Kommunikation
- Verständnis des Datenflusses von Gerät zur Cloud: Fähigkeit, End-to-End-Datenpipelines zu verwalten: Dekodierung und Transformation von Rohdaten, Anwendung von Geschäftslogik und Speicherung strukturierter Daten im Backend oder in Cloud-Systemen

Your mission

Key Responsibilities

Lead system design and architecture for cloud-connected IoT devices.
Perform system analysis, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
Manage product development cycles, from concept to launch.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, cloud, UX).
Define product requirements based on customer feedback and market trends.
Ensure compliance with industrial standards and certifications.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product features and usability.

Your profile

As an Electronic System Engineer & Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between hardware, software, and customer needs. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our industrial IoT products—from system architecture and analysis to product strategy and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in system engineering for embedded or IoT devices.
Excellent industrial documentation writing skills.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, APIs, BLE etc.)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and IoT device integration.
Proficiency in system analysis tools and methodologies.
Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Knowledge & Experience and motivation to learn about the following topics.

Experience with IoT systems, devices, and setup: Practical experience working with connected devices - including configuring hardware, integrating sensors, and troubleshooting edge behaviour.
Experience with backend development, ideally Elixir/Node: Experience in building or maintaining backend services using Elixir and/or TypeScript (Node.js), including APIs, data processing, and integration with device or cloud systems.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and cloud-to-cloud integration: Experience using cloud platforms and integrating with third-party services through APIs, webhooks, or event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with communication protocols like MQTT, BLE, and cellular: Understanding how to work with IoT communication stacks - setting up MQTT handlers, handling BLE advertisements, or managing NB-IoT/LTE-M device communication.

Understanding of device-to-cloud data flow: Ability to handle end-to-end data pipelines: decoding and transforming raw device payloads, applying business logic, and storing structured data in backend or cloud systems.
